New Client Essentials

Because we are a small practice with limited availability, every request is thoughtfully reviewed before scheduling. Submitting the Prospective Client Form does not ensure services, but it allows us to identify if a provider can meet your needs.

Purpose of Care

The purpose of treatment at Alaska Integrative Psychiatry is to enhance your mental and emotional well-being. Care is not intended for legal purposes, and providers will not participate in court evaluations or serve as witnesses without prior agreement.

We are unable to provide disability evaluations, court-ordered psychiatric evaluations, or forensic assessments.

Beginning the Process

Please complete the Prospective Client Form.

  • All information is confidential and reviewed only by our clinical and administrative team. This helps us understand your history, current concerns, and needs.

  • Prospective client requests are typically reviewed within 3–5 business days.

Once received, our office manager, Dahl, will review the information with a provider to determine availability. If additional information is needed, we will contact you through the information you provided.

If a provider is able to accept you, we will contact you with the next steps:

  • Insurance verification

  • Secure communication via Spruce Health

  • Completion of intake paperwork

If we are unable to accommodate your request, we encourage you to continue seeking care and can provide suggestions for other resources when possible.

    • Follow-up: 60 minutes

  • Frequency of therapy or medication sessions is based on individual needs.

Insurance and Payment

  • We are in-network with many insurance plans, including Aetna, Blue Cross Blue Shield EBMS, UnitedHealthcare, and more. We are non-network with Tricare. If you’re unsure about your coverage, please don’t hesitate to reach out to us—we’re happy to help.

  • Payment, including copays, coinsurance, or deductibles, is due at the time of service.

  • We require a credit, FSA, or HSA card on file for easy and secure billing. You can manage your card through the client portal.

  • You may request a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of services

Confidentiality

Your privacy is a priority. Sessions are confidential except when required by law, such as risk of harm to self or others or suspected child or elder abuse.
