Conditions We Treat
We provide compassionate, personalized support to help clients across Alaska navigate a wide range of emotional and mental health concerns.
ADHD
Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder can affect focus, organization, time management, and emotional regulation. Many adults with ADHD struggle with feeling overwhelmed, procrastination, or difficulty sustaining attention. We provide comprehensive evaluation and treatment options to help improve concentration, productivity, and daily functioning.
Anxiety
Anxiety can show up in many different ways, including persistent worry, racing thoughts, physical tension, difficulty relaxing, or feeling constantly on edge. We work with clients experiencing generalized anxiety, panic symptoms, social anxiety, and stress-related concerns to help reduce distress and improve day-to-day functioning.
Depression
Depression can affect mood, energy, sleep, concentration, and motivation. Some people experience persistent sadness, while others notice irritability, fatigue, or a loss of interest in activities they once enjoyed. Treatment may include therapy, medication management, or a combination of approaches to help restore balance and improve quality of life.
Mood Disorders
Mood disorders involve changes in emotional regulation that can affect energy, sleep, and behavior. We work with individuals experiencing conditions such as bipolar disorder and other mood-related concerns, helping clients find stability through thoughtful evaluation and individualized treatment planning.
Sleep Concerns
Sleep and mental health are closely connected. Difficulty falling asleep, staying asleep, or maintaining a consistent sleep schedule can significantly affect emotional well-being. When appropriate, we may explore behavioral strategies, medication options, or referrals for sleep studies to better understand underlying causes.
Stress & Life Transitions
Major life changes, ongoing stress, and demanding responsibilities can impact emotional health. Therapy can help individuals develop coping strategies, gain perspective, and build resilience during challenging periods.
When Additional Care is Needed
Mental health is closely connected to overall physical health. In some cases, symptoms that appear psychiatric may have underlying medical causes. When appropriate, we may recommend additional evaluation such as laboratory testing, sleep studies, or collaboration with other healthcare providers to ensure a complete understanding of your health.
If your needs fall outside the scope of our practice, we are happy to help connect you with trusted providers or specialized services.
