About Andrea
Andrea, a lifelong Alaskan, has dedicated her nursing career since 2003 to assisting fellow Alaskans struggling with behavioral health issues. Her experience spans various acute care settings, including detox, inpatient mental health units, ECT, and emergency psychiatry.
Andrea understands that the journey to wellness is deeply personal, often woven with an individual's unique experiences, thoughts, emotions and spiritual beliefs. Her practice is anchored in open communication and honesty, fostering a safe and nonjudgemental environment where clients can comfortably share their most profound concerns. Andrea adopts a flexible and integrative approach, recognizing that while psychiatric medications can be effective, they are often just one piece of the puzzle in achieving a more balanced and fulfilling life.
Andrea offers comprehensive diagnostic evaluations, medication management and psychotherapy to adolescents and adults dealing with a range of mental health issues, such as ADHD, depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder and trauma.
